Little Girl and Her Dog
The story began in the evening. The bowl was full. Until the evening the bowl was still at its place. It didn’t move at all. He didn’t eat the food. The little girl was crouching in front of the big dog’s kennel. She moved the bowl aside, and took the big dog out from its kennel. “He is sick, I guess,” said the little girl. The big dog is the little girl’s pet that she had since the last year. The big dog was found at the front door of the little girl’s house and of course it wasn’t a normal occasion. They said it “the big dog” because the size of the dog is very big. The size is about a normal-man’s-waist tall and about 3-of-4-motorcycle long. Of course the big dog was so heavy. Even the size was just 3-of-4-motorcycle long, the weight was equal to a motorcycle. Despite that heavy weight, the abnormal power of the little girl made the weight was just like nothing. Her two friend stood behind her. The tall boy then said “I guess you have to bring her to the pet hospital.” The little girl replied “It is ‘HIM’. He has the ‘male thing’ too ok? But I agree with you, he might need some medicine.” The shorter boy then said “Then let’s go, he could be die like just now.” The little girl replied “Just shut up. What if he dies because of your word?” “Yea, who knows,” The shorter boy then crouched too “now how do we bring him to the hospital?” The little girl was still looking at the big dog “I’ll carry him to the hospital.” After that, they went to the pet hospital that very popular in the city.
They waited about an hour on the waiting seat. The big dog lied on the floor. While waiting, they discussed about the possible reason why the big dog didn’t eat the food all day long. They thought maybe the big dog had crush to another dog.
“You remember two days ago we found him sleeping in front of a guy’s house right? I heard the guy has a female dog,” said the taller boy.
“Yea, it’s possible that big dog had crush to the guy’s dog, so that he diets to attract the guy’s dog,” said the shorter boy.
“Hm, hm, it’s very normal at her age to do something such like diet to attract other girl, she is lesbian right?
“No, Big Dog is not a lesbian, Big Dog is totally normal, totally. And once again I say Big Dog has the ‘male thing’ so he is a male. By the way Big Dog is an educated dog, he won’t do diet just to attract a female dog.” denied the little girl.
“Hey, I remember he winked to the pretty dog at the park last week, he isn’t that educated you know,” said the taller boy.
“It’s hard to say but I saw that occasion too, I’m sorry” said the shorter boy.
They keep discussing such not important thing. The discussion was worth nothing in the end, but at least the time passed faster. It’s already a little past an hour. The doctor called the big dog to enter the room.
They entered the room then put the big dog on the bed. The doctor checked for the big dog’s condition. The doctor then said that there’s an unknown thing in the big dog’s stomach “See that thang? I can’t figure what that thang is, but I’m pretty sure it is what makes the dog don’t wanna eat nothing, yeah.” “What was that? Was that a rap,” the taller boy showed his shocked and confused expression “I don’t know there is a doctor like this in this hospital, you made me scare dude.” The little girl agreed “Yeah, you’re just like a usual black man even though you have a white skin.” The shorter boy said “Are you a real doctor?” “Hey, hey, take it easy,” said the doctor with a little laugh “it is just a kind of joke. And I’m a real doctor ok? Haha” The taller boy speak again “You scared me off you know.” After that they discussed about what they were supposes to do with the unknown thang. In the end, they decided to hit the big dog’s back, and they succeeded. The unknown thang was a part of a toy that was looked like a hand. “Oh, it is my toy,” said the taller boy, “I wondered where that thing disappeared.”
The time was about 11 pm. Even the toy had been ejected, the little girl couldn’t go home yet. The hit at the big dog’s back before remained a bad condition of him. It was also because the big dog hadn’t eat any food since the last night. Because of those, the little girl had to pay about 7 times more expensive for the maintaining of the big dog, and if she doesn’t take the maintaining, the big dog’s life would be in a big risk. She had no choice but took the maintaining and because she didn’t have enough money, she had to stay in the hospital until her 2 friends get enough money.
She was waiting in a room that full of cage that had animal in it. It was very quiet there. “I guess they will get the money by at least tomorrow, hhhh,” sighed the little girl. She then got her packed sausage that she brought all day in her pocket and open it. Just before the sausage reach her mouth, she heard a sound came from a cage that facing her. She held the sausage and approached the cage “What is that?” After being near enough, the little girl saw what in the cage was. It wasn’t a caged moving money like she expected. It was a baby camel. “What the… how can this hospital have a baby camel,” the little girl muttered “weird.”
The baby camel was so cute in the little girl’s eyes even though it was rather disgusting, While the little girl was still looking at it, the baby camel showed its miserable face and opened its mouth “This baby camel must be so hungry.” Thought the little girl. She looked at her hand. She had a sausage. She could give the baby camel that sausage if she want to, but the little girl herself hadn’t eaten since the morning too. She was also very hungry, just like the baby camel. “Uhh, what should I do? I’m very hungry too though, but this baby camel is very cut oh my god (no, it wasn’t that cute!).” The little girl then closed her eyes with a serious looking. She turned back. She bit the sausage. But, she didn’t eat it “No Iy cwan’t dwo iyt. Ywou wore twoo cyuwte lille camel (seriously, not cute!),” she then cried and put the sausage out from her mouth and gave it to the baby camel “here, take this, and this too.” She gave all of her sausage. Now she was very hungry. She watched how the baby camel ate the sausage appallingly which was looks very cute for the little girl. After that she caress the baby camel and went back to her place.
“She is very cute isn’t she?” a strange voice heard by the little girl but she didn’t notice that it was strange and keep looking at the baby camel’s cage. “Yeah, indeed. You’re right, she is very cute,” said the little girl right just before she noticed “wait, WHAT? The baby camel is female?” she totally got the wrong idea. “Yes of course it is female, didn’t you notice it?” Said the strange voice. The little girl replied “No I didn’t noti… wait who are you?” She looked at every corner of the room and found nothing. The strange voice spoke again “Haha, now you notice me.” The little girl seemed confused “What? Are you a beautiful fairy that will give me some money for my dog’s maintaining as a reward of my kindness where I gave all of my food to the baby camel which is your magic pet or something?” The strange voice then spoke again “Nope, and the way you didn’t see me just because I’m black is little bit mean you know. I guess you had too much watching cartoon kid. I’m your dad’s friend and your two friend told me that you have some kind of trouble.” “Oh, yeah,” the little girl seemed so embarrassed, “I’m sorry I guess you’re right. I had too much cartoon lately.” The little girl’s dad’s friend saw the little girls face and said “Hey hey, don’t feel so bad. Just regard this as a reward of your kindness to that disgusting baby camel. Beside, it was a very honorable action you know?” The little girl now seemed better “Hum the baby camel is cute actually but, I guess you right I’m indeed a kind person.” “Now you say it,” said the little girl’s dad’s friend “now let’s pay the maintaining. Oh by the way, I told your two friends to go home and rest so you don’t need to look for them. And you, I’ll take you home.” The little girl then follow the little girl’s dad’s friend and said “Thanks a lot sir.” The little girl’s dad’s friend replied “Don’t mind it.”
The next day, the big dog was healed and the little girl could play with her big dog and two friends with smile again.
